Fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and slight hints of rose petals. On the palate this wine has elegant bubbles and refreshing acidity, offering delicate, yet alluring flavors of red berries and white fruits that linger through the finish.
Pinot Nero (aka Pinot Noir) and Raboso. Juice is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for about 10 days and does NOT undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation in sealed, temperature-controlled autoclave initiated by selected yeasts for 30 to 40 days. It is then transferred to bottle and released shortly thereafter. As it is Extra Dry, the residual sugar is 16-18 grams per liter (whereas Brut would be around 6-9 grams per liter), so this wine has more pronounced fruit notes than a Brut wine.
